We are Allan and Sue Laird and we live just west of Caldwell, Idaho amongst the orchards in the beautiful wine country known as Sunny Slope. Our lives, interests, and families intersected just prior to both of us retiring from lengthy careers. We now find the novel of our lives influenced by additional stories.
The story about how the feel of fabric coupled with the art of sewing pieces together strategically develop items of comfort for the giver as well as the receiver.
A "chicken story" four years ago has led to our 120+ chickens providing quality fresh eggs marketed to our local community.
Our granddaughter McKayla has started a side job to help support her involvement in her school's Varsity Cheer Team. She inherited a large supply of this unique lumber and is looking for customers to help her out!
Four Jersey calves have grown into a small herd of heifers on our farm and are slowly changing to represent our Scottish heritage while keeping our freezers full.
Our most recent "pig story" started the process of growing little AGH pigs which will soon be ready to market to provide quality home grown pork to your table. Check out this story for a cute adventure.
The best things about this community are the personal connections that we make with those around our farm. Small businesses being run by great people. Please take moment to visit and share their websites!
